Fiqh for Beginners: Purification

This beginner-level course offers a structured introduction to the topic of purification (ṭahārah) according to the Maliki school of thought. Designed as a foundational step for those beginning their study of Maliki fiqh, the course focuses on equipping students with the essential rulings and principles related to purification.
It also serves as a preparatory course for level 1, which will cover the rulings of prayer, fasting, Hajj and more in the Maliki madhhab.

Introduction to the Book of Purification – Study based on Matn al-Ashmawiyyah, a foundational text in Maliki fiqh.

Nullifiers of Wudhu' – Learn what invalidates ablution and how to identify situations requiring renewal.

Categories of Water – Understand the types of water and their rulings in relation to purification.

Obligatory Acts of Wudhu' – Master the essential components required for a valid ablution.

Recommended and Virtuous Acts – Explore additional actions that enhance the reward and completeness of Wudhu'.

The Ritual Bath (Ghusl) – Learn when and how to perform the full-body purification according to the Maliki school.

Dry Ablution (Tayammum) – Study the conditions and method of Tayammum when water is not available.
