In a recent visit to Canada, we learnt how to live off our little luggage for almost one month. With less clothes and other essentials, we found space in the place where we stayed. The fact that it was Ramadan i.e. no food or similar activities, gave us a bigger space to focus on the loftier and the more important concerns of life. In a short span of two weeks, I was able to finish almost 800 pages of reading; deep reading alongside other activities.
I realised how productive we can be when we take away the mess of unwanted or unnecessary luggage. If we look around us, we will see that we can live without many things that we stuff our life with. If we look inside us, the mess will be more evident. Emptying our hearts and souls from unnecessary worries, concerns, feelings and engagements will only free the space for a freer, an insightful and more productive souls.
